Huawei MU736 is a HSPA+ wireless module with the new NGFF form factor, supporting Penta-band UMTS (B1/B2/B4/B5/B8) for worldwide network coverage. MU736 has low power consumption, GPS and global carrier certifications, enabling easier and more flexible design and integration into end devices. In addition, MU736 supports all NGFF features to optimise performance, power consumption and usability.
MU736 is the ideal choice for PC OEMs and ODMs to use in long battery life/thin form factor devices such as Ultrabooks and tablets requiring best in class cellular platform KPIs. The module is also well suited for embedded applications and provides excellent performance with a very small footprint.

The DVK provides a complete solution based on the data functions of the module.
For designers who adopt the module in their designs, the DVK facilitates their module-based programming and troubleshooting at the project development stage.
Consisting of a dedicated interface board and accessories, the DVK provides the following interfaces:
- One 5 V power supply input interface
- Two USB interfaces (one Micro USB port and one A-type USB port)
- One standard RS-232 interface: COM1 with 4-line
- Standard Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card interface
- Two antenna connectors
The M.2 module is fixed to the DVK through the M.2 connector. The signals output from the module are transferred to the DVK for secondary development.

The Ulog is a log capturing tool for all Huawei modules.
It can work on PCs and various embedded platforms, and supports different operating systems (OS), such as Windows 7, Linux, and Android.
For Windows there's a graphical user interface available. In order to capture logs with Ulog the modules unique shell lock code need to be acquired based on the IMEI.
