This is the new ZTE ZM8620 LTE (4G) wireless module supporting downlink data rates up to 100Mbps and uplink data rates up to 50 Mbps.
ZM8620 is a multimode wireless communication module with mini-PCIE interface, which can be applied in various industrial or consumer devices. ZTE ZM8620 has a wide range of LTE-FDD bands, but also TDD-bands.
This version V2/A is supporting FDD- bands 1/2/4/5/7/8/12 as well as TDD-band 38 and focused on the North American market.

ZTEWelink wireless module can be used on Windows operating systems as a network adapter, it supports Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8 and Windows RT. When used on XP/Win7/Vista, user should install drivers so that the operating system can
recognize it. For detailed information about how to install drivers for ZTEWelink wireless module, see other documents provided by ZTEWelink Corporation.
When used on Windows 8 or Windows RT, user needn’t install drivers for wireless module at all. Just follow the instructions below and then you can access the internet. All examples below will use Window 8 as the operating system, which also appropriate for Windows RT.

I can't detect the ZTE module. What shall I do?
The module ZM8620 has to be set in the right mode depending on what operative system it shall be used in.
The AT Command that shall be used is called AT+ZWITCH.
* For Linux/Android send, the command AT+ZSWITCH=L
* For Windows XP and Windows 7, send the command AT+ZSWITCH=X
* For Windows 8, send the command AT+ZSWITCH=8
The AT Command port will be open even if the module isn't correctly installed. When the right mode have been set, the module will install without any problem. Just follow the installation and integration guides.
